Rick began his career with a degree in Finance and Real Estate from California State University, Northridge. Over the next decade, he became a partner in two mortgage banking firms, funding over half a billion dollars in residential loans. In order to better serve the needs of his clients, Rick took and passed the series 7, series 63, series 65 and Insurance designation tests, which allows him to counsel clients and offer smart program choices for long-term financial strategies.

As a child of immigrant parents, Rick’s upbringing shaped his future in many ways. He learned to embrace old school values—like how a handshake is binding.

After receiving poor financial advice which impacted his life years later, he set out to make a difference. His experience as a client fueled his ambition to be the financial planner he wished he had had in his youth. Now he strives to help his clients make smarter decisions—as early as possible and while time is on their side.
